Guard Staff Tested Positive For COVID-19

Published: June 30, 2020

It has been brought to our attention that two members of the guard staff have tested positive for COVID -19. One member has completed quarantine and received medical clearance to return to work. The other guard member is asymptomatic, quarantined, and will not be returning to work until he has received medical clearance. HIPA does not allow the disclosure of the members names.

Additional measures have been taken to protect the homeowners and the guards. All guards will wear face coverings when at their post and will remain six feet from vehicle windows. High contact surfaces will be sanitized each shift change.

The guards will continue to sign for packages. Homeowners should remain in their vehicle and refrain from entering the guard house to pick up their package. Instead, the guards will bring the package to you and will place packages in the vehicle at your direction. It is recommended to have packages placed in the trunk or in the backseat of the vehicle. It is also recommended that homeowners disinfect their packages before bringing them into their home or near at-risk individuals.

If you have questions, please direct your questions to the Guard Supervisor on site, Gary Gage at Security.Chateau@ameritexgs.com or 972-899-0173.

On Behalf of the Board of Directors, we appreciate your cooperation.

Thank you.
